In order to produce the ultimate picture quality, the Panasonic’s DMP-BD70 Blu-ray players employs high precision 4:4:4 signal technology, which working in tandem with PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus processes each pixel of the Blu-ray Disc video signal in the horizontal direction, to compliment vertical direction processing. P4HD (Pixel Precision Progressive Processing for HD) is another technology that contributes to the superior picture quality of the Blu-ray players. P4HD processes more than 15 billion pixels per second and applies the optimal processing to every pixel.

Panasonic’s Blu-ray players further utilize 16-level motion detection to categorize the image motion of each pixel into one of 16 levels; diagonal processing to detect diagonals and correct the pixels accordingly; 1080p up-conversion to up-convert content recorded in the 480/576i/p or 720p format to 1080p. The Blu-ray players also provide 1080/24p output, thereby reproducing cinema images from a Blu-ray Disc and DVD in their original 24p form with no need for conversion. This allows the user to enjoy cinema images in the same format used in cinema with a 1080/24p compatible TV.

Will this work on my High Definition TV (HDTV) purchased in EUROPE, AUSTRALIA, AFRICA, MIDDLE EAST, ASIA, Samsung, Philips, Pansonic, Sony, Toshiba, Pioneer, LG, SHARP HDTV?

Yes it will work with any PAL TV, you do not need anything else.

Has this modification been tested? Will any disc from Blu-ray region A, B or C and region 1 2 3 4 5 6 DVDs work on this player?

Yes, we’ve tested many discs, both region locked without BD+ protection (for example "Speed" from Region A and "Transporter" form Region B) and also region locked ones with BD+ protection (for example "Live Free or Die Hard" form Region A and "The Simpsons Movie" from Region C). We've already sold many players in our store with no complaints (and due to the nature of this hardware modification we are sure the won't be any). We have also tested this player with the USA Region 1 DVDs, UK and German Region 2 DVDs, Australian Region 4 DVDs and China R6.

Will this modification also work in future?

Yes, this is an advanced hardware modification, so there no such possibility that anyone could limit the usage of this player. The player's firmware can be normally upgraded and it won’t affect the modification.

If I live in NTSC Country (USA, Canada, Japan) what do I need to watch all Blu Ray A+B+C, DVD Region 1 2 3 4 5 6?

If you live outside USA, Canada Japan, you do not need this item. If you purchased your TV in the USA/CANADA/JAPAN it is most likely an NTSC only TV thus you will require high definition video scaler which we do carry. ....please call 773-733-8367 for details.
